Question: How do I resolve this error message, “Error creating parent-child relationship. Members in a hierarchy path cannot transition between the current dimension and inherited dimensions more than once”?

We have an Account Dimension for Actuals that we are extending for Plan.

• In the extended Plan dimension, we need to use members that are inherited from the ACTUALS dimension.  We need to use some of the Actuals accounts within the Plan data collection. 
• However, when we try to add relationships within the extended dimension, we get the following error: 
  • “Error creating parent-child relationship. Members in a hierarchy path cannot transition between the current dimension and inherited dimensions more than once”.
