Question: When writing ratios such as DSOs, where can I find the days of the period, are they already in OneStream?

Answer

  • The number of days in each period will reflect whatever has been defined in the time profile (found within the application tab).
  • Calendar Months will show the standard days per month but you can customize the month type or start date for each period within the time profile.
  • The number of days will reflect these settings.
  • There is an api time function to get the days in a period.

Standard VB.net functionality can also be used within business rules.
For example, the following will also return the number of days in each month.
There is an api time function to get the days in a period.
