Task Manager Upload

Has anyone figured out how to upload new tasks using the Exported template. We currently have tasks populated and now I would like to add multiple new tasks. I exported my current tasks but am unable to figure out how to add new tasks and import. I tried by inserting a line item and adding the new task and related items. Attempt #1, I left the "Task ID" blank and uploaded. Upload stated successful but the new task did not come through.

Works for me (version 7.2.2). Make sure you start from the template, not a CSV export:

It's correct to leave the Task ID field blank for new tasks.

Make sure you refresh the page, and/or click away to another group before you get back to the group you expect to contain the new tasks.

Sorry, I'm a bit confused. Are you talking about the Task Scheduler?

Apologies, I should drink more coffee before opening the forum. I'll look into it.

Thanks Jack that worked! Do you also have any suggestions for dealing with this situation? When I export the current Task Manager tasks, items noted as "Not Required" show up as a code number as below.

That's an ID, and if I'm reading your comment correctly "Not Required" is a Group in your environment - so that's probably the ID of the Group.

The only other concept of "Not Required" that I can find is the Approver field - in which case again it's probably an ID pointing to a default "not required" approver.
