Hi,

Is there a way to call a dimension parameter in a QuickView? If we put for example UD1 in the rows in our QuickView and instead of choosing a dimension member for the rig we choose a parameter we get a “#error - The member filter contains unresolved parameters.”

The parameter does work in a cube view.

QuickViews need the member name. However if they really, really want to be in Excel they can import the Cube View into the worksheet. Not as flexible as a QuickView for ad hoc analysis but the CV in the worksheet permits the usage of dynamic parameters.

Thanks Michael. We are using the quickview “rebuild” feature which will not be available if we build it out in a CV first. Will just make it clear to the users where they need to select UD1 from. Not a deal breaker.

I guess that works only for literal parameters. None of the parameters that allow you to choose are not going to work.
