Edit Rates

Hi OneStreamers,

I have a set of scenarios for forecast, rach one must have its own rate tables. Is it possible for me to use only one rate type and combine that with each scenario to input the rates ?

That is not possible. A new rate type would need to be created for each forecast scenario or if the rates exist in another rate type, a rule could be used instead of inputting the rates again.

Many thanks for the reply. The rate does exist in another type, So I think a rule would work. Do you have an example I can work with ?

No problem - go to Solution Exchange (formerly MarketPlace) and then to OpenPlace. From there you can download the CPM Blueprint application which has a Business Rule named "OSB_CustomTranslate". It has a good example of doing just this.
