Can someone please explain the difference between "Apply Access" and "Increase/Decrease Access" in Slice Security ? For Example : How it makes a difference when selecting "Apply Access - All Access" Vs "Increase Access - All Access" Also please advise any training materials for Slice Security?
Accessing external DB data via SQL Table Editor
Hi, I am unable to access external database view via sql table editor in the Cloud OneStream (version 8.2). Can somebody suggest what can be the possible issues? It is working fine when accessing the current app database but only issue is when accessing external database. The external connections are fine as able to access the data via data adapters.
Task Scheduler
Hi All, I am trying to schedule a task in Task Scheduler to trigger a Data Management job every 180 minutes, starting at 02:50:00 AM and ending at 9:00 PM. However, when I attempt to set this up, I receive the following message. Is this a warning, or is it something that needs to be addressed in order to resolve the issue? Hello, We've recently upgraded to OFC 8.4 and after this upgrade, underlying RCM table names have been updated. For ex - XFW_RCM_ReconItems is now updated as ReconItem. Earlier on OFC 8.2 , we were able to query this table using a data adapter as well as in Business rule (DBConnInfoApp) . But now it's not working anymore. Same issue is occurring for all other RCM related tables. It does work for other tables not related to OFC/RCM (for ex - Member). Are there any restrictions in OneStream to query certain application tables? Is there any workaround for this? Hello, I am wondering if there is any way to change a fiscal year once we have been using the application for quite sometime (several years.) Our current Fiscal year is 2025 so all the data is being imported into year 2025, but we now need to adjust our fiscal year one year back. So everything in 2025 becomes 2024. Is this possible? Or what options might I think about? Would I need to setup and start using a new scenario? Any ideas, comments, suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank youQuestionnaire Scroll Bar
The Question Text Column scroll bar in my Certification Questionnaire is not working. I have a long question text which does not fit the default cell size. The scroll bar is not clickable/draggable, so my reviewers aren't able to view the entire question during certification. The workaround I have is just to expand the column size so that the text fits into the cell. I am wondering if anyone has the same user experience or has a solution to get it to work? My current software version is 7.1.3.
Journals OwnerPreAdj
I have captured journals at a base entity on C#OwnerPreAdj . When I process the cube, the values do not get consolidated. I have to run a Force Consolidate for the result to come through on reports. I have set my cube settings for Calculate OwnerPreAdj if No data to True. This is on Onestream Version 8.4.
