Dashboard Security for Multiple Security Groups

Is it possible to assign more than one security group to a Dashboard without having to create a new security group?

We have a Dashboard that our SuperUsers currently have access to, and they want the Supervisors to be able to see that Dashboard as well. We don't want to create a combined security group to include both SuperUsers and Supervisors to maintain separation of duties for auditing purposes and we don't want everyone in the application to have access to the dashboard.

Is this possible?

How about creating a new dashboard profile, assign your maintenance unit to it, and assign the supervisors group to this new profile.

@db_pdx Can we have more than one Dashboard Profile for the same Dashboard?

Yes, that is the purpose of Dashboard Profiles; to combine groups of Dashboards in arbitrary ways with distinct visibility and security settings.

@db_pdx We've attempted creating a new dashboard profile as you suggested, and we are finding that is not working. The supervisors are getting a security access error stating they are not authorized to access the workflow profile. The dashboard we want them to be able to see includes three separate security groups and each supervisor only has access to view one of the three security groups. We were hoping that when accessing the dashboard, they would only see the security group of customers that they have access to see, but it does not appear to be that way.

Looking for any other suggestions on how to make this work without having to create three separate dashboards or a new security group.
