Copy data to Derived Cell status

I am trying to build a rule to copy data from one year/Forecast Scenario to another e.g Long term and have req to copy data to derived cell value but dont want data to be enable for input.
Is there way to copy data? I tried DM job and Custom finance rule but it did not work.

     Hi pranav46 

    The cells you have highlighted are invalid (pink) which is probably why you cannot write data there

    I would check your data model to see why that intersection is invalid in the first instance

      Sam - Yes I made it invalid so, no one can forecast long term number but idea if I can seed from other scenario and have limited input. Don't want to go to extensibility route.

    Hi pranav46 

    If your target cells are invalid (pink) in your data model. That means you cannot write data there. So suspect that is your issue

      Yes you cant write to pink cell. I could not find an option to change cell status and write.
