I would caution on use of V#Annotations:
- This v# member is intended to capture text commentary
- Security over these members do not obey regular cube security
- This breaks data lineage with regular v# members such as Periodic and YTD
If it is a numeric adjustment , then you probably have another rule to move the adjustment from that member elsewhere?
Just my two cents.
I removed V#Annotation from column member filter. But instead in POV I added Annotation for View then only the form becomes editable otherwise it is not.
currently I have like this.
Is this ok to do? my difficulty is the column fields is not accepting any numeric format, for Total Revenue even though I set Can Modify as 'False' it is editable.
Hi Archana,
To further troubleshoot, consider replicating one of your target entry cells using QuickView to verify why you are not able to enter a number. If every POV selection is at Base, it should accept input unless you have security or potentially constraints on that POV.
UD1, UD2 and Entity might be where the issue is. Check to see if they are at base and you can directly input in that POV through QuickView.
I am guessing your S# is set to accept input but might as well check that too.
Remember - if you reference a DIM in your rows and columns it ignores your POV settings.
