Does anyone have a document showing the work that is required to split a live cube in 2?

Does anyone have a document showing the work that is required to split a live cube in 2? The business case is that we will have regional cubes initially but that down the line might be split further if the client wants to add responsibility levels and further decentralization capabilities? For example we would start with an AsiaPacific cube since this the current organization but what is the work required if they decide after a few years to split it in 3: Asia, Australia and Pacific.

    It would be easiest to start with an empty application, then bring over the elements you want in the new app. It's essentially a re-implementation but you have a head start on creating a bunch of stuff.
