LIM (Workforce Planning) Register Definition

I'm working through a proof of concept for Workforce Planning, which is driving the addition of new Register Fields after the initial setup.  I've added some new fields, but they do not display in the Register.  Am I missing something simple or is this expected behavior?  If it's expected behavior, then that would imply I need to do a complete rebuild (I know I can use import templates).
