CV Spreading

Hello,

We want to spread data acrross multiple periods in a cube view, so we select the parent member (Year) and we expect that automatically OS applies spreading to all its base time members (months).

However, we are working on a forecast scenario with the setting "Number of No Input Periods Per WF Unit" set to 4. And we don't understand how the spreading works.

It seems the system calculates the difference between the amount entered at the parent member (Year) and the total amount of the closed months (the no input periods), and this calculated amount is the one that is saved at the parent member (Year), instead of the amount enetered initially.

Could someone help us to clarify this calculation?
