Dynamic way to get the parent for an entity in Quick View?

i don't believe there are any OOTB functions.  We use a UD8 member with a dynamic formula that determines the immediate parent of a member in a given entity hierarchy.

In a quickview you should be able to leave the parent field blank. You selected "Group" and this parent is now applied to all entities in your screenshot, but is only valid for Europe_C, that is why all the rest is invalid.
