Empty cube view for pasting data

Hi,

Is there a way to paste values from Excel into an empty cube view? I get read only cells with pink background. I tried already to use A#None

Any help is appreciated.

You should be able to paste values form an excel spread sheet into a cube view in data explorer, however the cells would have to be base level cells and allow for input (white Background).

    Example:

These cells were copied form an excel worksheet into the Cube View and then can be saved

Is this what you are asking, or am I misunderstanding the question?

    Thank You

Thank you so much for replying, yes it's exactly what I'm trying to achieve! I get cells with white background and they are not writable despite General Settings->Common->Can modify data is set to true.

I can't send screenshots as for some reason they are flagged as spam but if I drill down I get a row with a pink background. Does it mean invalid interesection?

You can right-click on the cell and choose "Cell Status" and it will tell you if the cell is invalid, read only, allows for input, etc.
