Form default to cell detail

Does anyone know how you can default the cell to use the cell detail or even better enforce the users to use only cell detail on the form?

    You could try writing a confirmation rule that checks for cell detail if it finds data in that particular cell.

      Thanks.  This will work, however, this is more proactive and I would like to find a way to force them to use cell detail on certain row or column on the form if possible.
