Regression line in BI Viewer

Hello folks,

I'm trying to add a regression line on a scattered chart in Bi Viewer. I'm trying to use Calculated fields but when I arrive to the point of calculating the y in the equation I get an error as a "summary expression" is expected:

[intercept] + [slope] * [V4]

If I surround V4 with Max or Min it's accepted but no line is plotted on the chart.

Does anyone have a clue if it's possible to add a regression line on a chart?

Many thanks

That depends on how you're producing those calculated fields... Maybe have a look at BI_Viewer_Design_and_Reference_Guide.pdf in the documentation package, it contains a section on Aggregations that should show you how to deal with that sort of situation.

Thanks for the reply but sadly didn't help, it gave another error. May I suggest to add the option to plot the regression line straight from the BI Viewer as it happens with Excel and PowerBI in the future OS version?
