Yes, relational blending!  The best way to get started in your analysis is to download Table Data Manager (TDM).  Look at the schema in the View table vStageSourceAndTargetDataWithAttributes.  You can of course build SQL against this view using a Data Adapter to report on your Attribute fields.  The Column Name in this view in TDM is the field names for the Attributes.
