Reporting expenses as negative instead of positive
We are converting from HFM to OneStream. We set up HFM so that expenses are reported as negative. My understanding is OneStream only reports/stores expenses as positive. Is this accurate?
This is readily addressed by creating a dynamically calculated U8#NaturalSign member, which flips the sign of Expense and Asset AccountType's.

There are also many customers who are storing expenses as negative values and report them as such. Take a look at the Account type setting on the account members - if you set up your expense account members with the account type "Revenue", you can then load / display your expenses as negatives. Most of the projects I worked on (Europe based) would do this.
