Roadmaps in OneStream

Is it possible to create a Roadmap inside of OneStream? If so, I am looking for some guidance on how that can be accomplished and how difficult it would be to maintain and update the roadmap when needed.

Hi, may I ask you to elaborate on that? I might have a different kind of roadmap in mind than you, so I am not sure I can give an appropriate response at that point in time.

Maybe an exemplary screenshot of a mock-up of what you plan to achieve might help?

Henning We have a roadmap of projects we want to accomplish for the year related to OneStream and would like to be able to display the roadmap inside of OneStream instead of having to use Excel or a different program that produces a roadmap. I will attach an example for you.

I see, thank you! So we are talking about the same thing 🙂 To be frank, I never did that, nor have I seen it in OneStream yet. But that does absolutely not mean that it does not exist!

Is the purpose to have a dashboard that all users can see and collaborate on?

The easiest that comes to my mind is to use Spreadsheets within OneStream. But that is not too far from using Excel, so unlikely what you are looking for.
You could use a cube view and use overrides to set the cell formats as needed. Or format certain values (phase 1 = "1"= red). That would be interactive and allow oneself to easily adjust the phases over time with T# in the columns. But as this is for data and not a graphical interface, not sure if that is what you are looking for.

You could also get very creative with workspaces and pull this all together, but compared to setting this up in PowerPoint or Excel / Spreadsheets, the time one needs to invest might be too much IMHO.

I hope someone else here has a better answer for you! If not, think about posting this as an idea on IdeaStream if you think such a feature should be added to the platform (and provided I did not miss it).
