Rounding in cube views - Best practice

Hi all,

I am sure this topic has been covered before, but I am looking for what the community is doing in terms of rounding issues (as they apply to CV's). Especially in the case of when financial reports are scaled (to thousands or millions).

Are most just jamming differences in via forms as needed. Is there some sort of automation that can account for rounding issues?

Any advice would be most welcome and appreciated here. Thanks!

I am trying to find a solution for this as well.  It doesn't really seem to be addressed at the root.  Changing the number formatting only applies visually, it doesn't actually round the numbers and of course there is the footing issue.  You can apply methods in excel which allows more flexibility, but doesn't resolve the issue that this is so manual.  I did find this article but have not attempted any of the solutions yet.

Hi - there are a number of rounding posts here in Community that have been solved. You can find them by searching using the magnifying glass in the upper right corner. Pick one that best suits your needs! To answer your question about jamming differences in via forms, no, it's not recommended practice to store rounding in your data set.
