security based combo box

We currently have a combo box (with entities) in a dashboard but we would like to make this list a bit smaller and based on the security rights a users has. I want to solve this with a XF...

Hi,
I would attach a where clause directly in your entity parameter.
Eg. E#Entity.Base.Where(UserInReadDataGroup =True)
Dont think you need to over complicate and use an XFBR
