Do only have I the impression some of the questions of the exam where not even touched in the course?
w.g. Where can users be managed in OneStream / How should an adminstrator extract a copy of an application?

Yes there can be things that are covered in the exam that are not taught in the courses. Success with OneStream certification draws significantly on successful experience with the product. Book knowledge will get you started, and experience will make you proficient.
Getting certified validates for others your experience with the product.
