Tax Provisioning Blueprint Overview - PV7.3.0 SV100

The following Blueprint is compatible with OneStream Platform v8 and will be moving to OpenPlace in July of 2024.

The OneStream Tax Provision Blueprint provides a framework to streamline the tax provision computing national and local for both current and deferred taxes under US GAAP as well as providing related workflows and reporting, all within the OneStream Platform. It is a full application that provides an accelerated path to building out what will be a customized OneStream Financial Model.  It allows companies to leverage the OneStream platform capabilities and existing OneStream data to automate tax provision related flows of data and reporting. 

In this release, we have added over 50 additional reports, added the UD1 Total jurisdiction member to the schedules for improved reporting, added sample forecast confirmation rules and fixed a few business rules.

As the Blueprint provides the framework for the Tax Provision calculations, it is intended to provide a starting point in the creation of a custom implementation.  This Blueprint is therefore NOT UPGRADEABLE.

The Tax Provision Blueprint is installed with OneStream Financial Model Applications but utilizes its own distinct cube providing the ability to leverage Financial Model data already in OneStream while allowing organizations to manage separate and distinct data and Workflows.  

Tax Provision Blueprint takes advantage of the inherent capabilities of the OneStream Platform, including configurable workflow management, ability to trace data, flexible and powerful consolidation capabilities, flexible and accurate translation capability, and the ability to manage multiple levels of detail to support differing business needs. Tax Provision Blueprint also takes advantage of other capabilities of the OneStream Platform, which enable integration with other tax data sources, local ledgers, and other financial systems.
