Run Data management sequence from Task Manager

Hello,

Here is an example of what we are trying. We have set the close dates and created a task in task manager which has a data management sequence as action and the start hour. 

Does Task manager run the data management task as per the start hour given? The Auto execute option runs the task when the task is approved but we are trying to run the task at the scheduled time using task manager.

Have you thought of using the Task Scheduler functionality to trigger that automated Data management task instead?

We do use Task scheduler to trigger the jobs automatically but trying to see if there is possibility to run the tasks from Task manager.
