Drillback to stage slow after upgrade and switching to SIC connector

We upgraded to 8.2.2 last month and switched our data connector to the SIC connector.  Since upgrading all our drilldown cube views (to stage data) have been loading slow.  Most of them used to load instantaneously.  Now some take 5-15 minutes to load.  Has anyone had this issue?  I have an open ticket with support.   They ran indexing and that helped but just a bit.  Thanks in advance.
