Excel "Save Offline Copy" hanging during Save

Hey JackLacava,
Any chance someone from product can explain what exactly is happening when we click on Save Offline Copy? My users are struggling with this feature with larger workbooks and especially those with cells linked to another workbook. As kmd stated, you would think that the offline copy would simply replace the values from XF functions as a paste value but it seems to be more complicated than this.
I can only tell you that this specific area (i.e. retaining formatting) will see a lot of improvements in the oncoming release, it's been substantially revamped. Hopefully this will result in better performance all around.
I sure hope so. I'm getting tired of hearing "I hate OneStream" from our users
