Row Range parameter or XFBR

I have a number of column definitions that will use the same Row Range in the Row Overrides.  I would like to use a parameter or XFBR for this, but neither seem to work for this specific field in the Row Overrides. i.e. I can only specify row names. Below is an example of what I am trying to do. Has anyone accomplished this?

This feels like a bit of a bug... basically that field (and that field alone, in that section) cannot be dynamically set, it has to be a raw string. I believe this is a known issue, but you might want to confirm it with Support.

As for workarounds: "Row Overrides" on Columns are superseded by "Column Overrides" on Rows, so you could reach a degree of reuse by having a template (Shared) column with static override settings, and then applying specific overrides on rows in the actual Cube Views.

There might be other approaches if you need these CVs in Dashboards, where Extenders may (or may not) be of help.
