entity assignment

Hello team,

I need to know how we define the unassigned parent entities in the entity assignment for a WF ? Is it through a profile property or through an entity member property in the entity dimension ? i am not able to find some entities in some WF and it appears in others.

Also , is it possible to call a function Entity base or hierarchy instead of calling entity by entity in the entity assignment tab ?

I'm not sure I follow the first part of the question. If it's a Base Input profile, you're assigning base Entities; if it's a Parent Input, you're assigning parents. It's not compulsory to assign all base or parents to workflows.

Anyway, you might find useful to peruse the standard report Workflow Profile Rights by Type:

Just select to look at Parent Input profiles if you're interested in parents.

For the second question: you can't use an expansion expression in the Entity Assignment tab, but you can select multiple members by holding Ctrl or Shift as you click on them and then clicking the Apply Selection icon.
