is possible to upload data on the parent member?
hi All, I need to upload data into the new scenario Plan with 5 years and would like to load data in parent membaers (Entity, Account and UD1), I'm using the scenario property "Allow input into Aggegated Consolidation member" but I think that this property is for another purpose. I'm coming from EPM Planning where it could be possible and many people told me that uploading data at any level is possible but cannot find any example. Could somebody help me? Hi everyone, My employer recently migrated from v7.4 to v8.5, and one of the new 'features' is the ability to rename journals before submission. Due to internal processes we'd like to restrict users from making any changes to journals names (regardless of their status) as they must follow a predefined naming convention. Entity - In Use Feature
Hi all, We have a situation where an Entity was created and incorrectly set up and contains data for period 2024M12 and 2025M3. We decided to create a new Entity and updated the transformation rules to ensure that the data loaded goes to the newly created member and not the old one. We have set the consolidation and ownership percentage of the old entity to 0 as added measure. We are now faced with the challenge of not deleting the member as it contains data. Kindly asking if it is advisable to set the In Use feature in this scenario and is there any impact that would cause. Thanks in advance.
Manual input not possible on one scenario but possibile on another
Hi everyone, I'm having problems in writing data to one scenario through a cubeview. I have 2 scenarios available. If in the cubeview I use one of them, it allows me to manually input data. If I change the scenario, I cannot input data anymore. All the other dimensions are base members and they are unchanged. In addition, I cannot find the setting to allow data input on one specific scenario. I checked the settings of both scenarios and they are identical. Does anyone have any idea how to do it? Hi, I was wondering if we can write a dynamic calc in the scenario dimension? I see the field for writing the formula but somehow it is not returning anything. How can I enable the type to dynamic calc so that it works as how we use it in account or UDs?

Hi, wondering if anyone has created something like an "Administrator-lite" role that gives the user an ability to do 90% of actions in the tool, but stay away from things like fx, mapping changes, and data loads. I really just want these users to create cube views and reports only without giving them keys to everything else. Would this be solved by adding a new group, or any other recommendations on how to solve? Thank you!Quick certification of a Certify Workflow using business rule
