Error Saving Journal: Entity Member Filter property for journal is inconsistent with template settng
Hey everyone, My first post, so I hope I'm in the right place. While trying to upload an Excel JE Temp to a WF, the following error appears. I can confirm that the entity member filter is consistent for both the OS Temp and the excel Temp. Also, the same Temp has been used to load data in one of the previous months, with no error. Any suggestions/help would be appreciated. -Amrit G.
Journal Threshold for Approval
Hello, Is there a way to allow a group of users to quick post journals under a certain threshold amount, but if higher than the threshold the journal needs approval? I used a rule previously that will reject the journal if the user attempts to quick post above a certain amount, but then I can't figure out how the next step would be for X group to go in and approve it for them? Thanks!
Oracle EBS 12 Drill Back to Journal and Subledger information
Hello everyone, newbie here, We about to embark on phase 2 of our implementation with the first task of creating drill back capabilities to our Oracle EBS 12.2 (on Prem) application. I want to try to organize as much of this as possible up front since my IT resources are extremely busy at this point. I have been searching for guidance on the best options for setting this up, but have run into so much disparate information. Is there any one of you fellow Oracle EBS users who would mind jumping on a call with me to discuss some of my options? 1. Where can I find Oracle SQL code examples to drill back to trial balance, journal and subledger information 2. Where could I find OneStream code snippets that could be incorporated into my application for this drillback data. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Supervisor Email Notifications
Had a quick question, is there a way to set up email notifications to Supervisor's for journal entry approvals, when a work flow is ready to certify or when RCM is ready to certify. I have read some other posts but I have not seen this process exactly or if it can be done. If it cant be done will it be coming with a future release? Thanks!Journal Entry Attachment Records/Audit
Hi All, We have a client who is concerned about users being able to delete and reload journal entry attachments. From what I can see there is no audit record of this, the items show up in the ‘Attachment’ table when posted but once deleted there is no record of this being deleted. From what I can tell there isn’t a separate audit table associated with this. Does anyone know if there is way to prevent users from being able to delete an attachment or a way to provide an audit of items that were changed? I also was trying to find where attachments for Journals get stored to see if changing security on a folder was possible (maybe the only record is the table itself and this isn’t an option). Another idea was an event handler but it doesn’t seem like deleting an attachment is considered an event. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated!
Security - Posting an auto-reversing journal entry
A user approves an auto-reversing journal entry - security also allows the user to post. The user is unable to post. HOWEVER, in the subsequent period, the user is able to post the auto-generated reversal journal entry. Has anyone seen this and thoughts on resolution?
