Required POV Pane Settings for Using Tax
The first time that a user logs into the Tax Provision Blueprint app. or when you switch Cubes (ie: Finance cube), they must update their POV settings: Select a valid Workflow POV Select a valid Cube POV Also see KB article: "How to Save your Tax Provision Cube POV" Here are sample POV’s that can be used as a starting point. Note that there should be no question marks (?) for any dimension member. Sample Workflow POV: Sample Cube POV: If the Point of View tab is hidden, click on the "POV Pane" icon in the upper right hand corner to access the Point of View tab.How to Save your Tax Provision Cube POV
This KB article will walk you through how to save your Cube POV and then recall it. Also see KB article: "Required POV Pane Settings for Using Tax" After you have set your Cube POV, right click on select "Save Cube POV to Favorites". Remember you should have No "?" for any dimension member. You will be prompted to get it a name. After, click on the "OK" button. Now let's say you have been in another cube or you want to easier change your Cube POV. You can just select a "Favorites POV". Notice my Cube POV is set to Finance: Now click on the Explorer icon, and then select your saved POV setting. You will be prompted with a message to make sure you want to change your Cube POV. Click on the "OK" button. Notice how the Cube POV has changed to the Tax cube with the saved dimension members..
