Add variance for scenario in BI Viewer component
Hi, I have two question in one: 1. I'm trying to add a variance column in a Pivot in BI Viewer for amounts that are split by 2 scenario's, actuals and budget. What is the most practical way to do this? I thought I would add a variance in my cube view used in the cube view md adapter but this is not picked up by BI Viewer. 2. Can I sort this variance column by the amount value?Solved6.4KViews0likes13CommentsHow to call Data Adapter in a Business Rule?
I'm working with a BI Viewer and working out how to sort the dates within the Time data set. Is their an API that allows to call the data adapter used within a dashboard? Currently the dates on the X-Axis are disorganized and are being sorted based on M1x, M2x which causes October (M10) to precede after January (M1).Solved6.3KViews2likes8CommentsBI Viewer - Creating a clustered column line chart
Hey All, I'm trying to add a column (bar) chart on top of this line chart. But I want it to reference and add a dollar based stats account (e.g. Avg Fleet Total) bar chart. I noticed there is a way to add a second axis on the right - so wondering if I can have two charts on the same pane. Appreciate the help folks. Thank you!5.9KViews0likes12CommentsBI Viewer
I am using the BI Viewer to display bars for actual data and a line for the budget/target. My issue is when I split the values into two groups the items in my legend are doubling. So I see each one once for the budget line (even though all intersections are 0 but one) and once for actuals. I have tried using the filter through the graph as well as creating a calculated field to filter what I want out before I get to the graph but still the legend is doubling. Does anyone know how I can remove unwanted items from the legend? The graph is showing exactly how I want it to it is just the legend that is the problem. Thanks!5.5KViews0likes11CommentsCreate a date field
Hi, in the getting started with BI viewer I see they make use of a date field, which enables you to drill down to quarters/months etc. How do you create such a field (I guess I have to something with the time dimension which contains my years and months). I'm struggling with finding an expression that works...Solved4.7KViews0likes6CommentsBI Viewer - Font Sizes
Hello, We have a use case that makes extensive use of dashboards. The BI viewer component seems like an attractive solution for this. However, we have been struggling to fully adapt it to our needs. One problem is the (seemingly) fixed font size for table content and axes. A particularly surprising effect is that there is no change in font size when maximizing a specific component. This could be a very smart feature, e.g. during a beamer presentation. Unfortunately it only increases the white spaces, while the fonts are identical. This seems almost like a bug - or am I missing something? (screenshots are original scale!) Thanks, Frank.4.1KViews3likes7CommentsVariable Name in Bi VIewer
Hi All, For a Bi Viewer Dashboard I use a Cube View which calculates values with a GetDataCell calculation. I display the values in a line chart. The values are displayed correctly, but the calculated variable name in the legend does not match the defined name in the Cube View calculation, instead the first used account name from the calculation is used. How can I use the name I defined in the cube view cell in BI Viewer, or if it is not possible, how can I rename the variable name manually in BI Viewer?Solved4KViews0likes8CommentsBI Viewer - Choropleth Map Editing
SOURCE: ONESTREAM CHAMPIONS Hi gang, Does anyone out here use Choropleth maps in BI Viewer and was able to figure out how to create new Shapefiles? Bi Viewer includes a bunch of default maps (8 in all - World, Europe, Asia, NA, SA, USA, Canada, Africa) but I’m looking for SHP files by states (i.e. California, Texas, etc.). Has anyone built different SHP files for BI-Viewer? If yes, please explain how?3.8KViews2likes7CommentsWorkflow Status Types | Images/Icons
Hello, I made a Grid View containing all WF Profile statuses for the current period & cube: I am struggling to do one little trick, changing the column 'Status' icon accordingly ... In the Grid View, I am under the impression that it only recognises 'Status = 2' as green circle, 'Status = 10' as red circle and 'Status = 1' as Blue circle and 'Status = 0' as Empty circle. My question: How can I add 'Locked WF' image, 'Locked, Not Started' and all other states ? Is it possible to put an image of our picking in the grid view's status column ? Temporary solution: I Used the 'Report Designer', since it is the only component I found that enables me to choose an image of my picking but It's not as satisfying as having it in a BIViewer/GridView.
