Alternate Hierarchy in Accounts dimension

Hello,

We are doing an implementation and my client needs to be able to have one legal hierarchie and one management hierarchie, the twist is I need to be able to share the accounts between the two.

Example:

Legal parent

     Account

Management parent

     Account (Shared)

I can't use extensibility because the two hierachies share no similarity whatsoever, the only thing they share is GL accounts. In my Oracle days that would be a piece of cake, but for some reason I can't make it work in OneStream Accounts dimension.

    You can Select the member(s) and the "Add" the relationship. Can't you?

    I am not sure if you followed the below steps but here's what I did:

    Refer to the screenshots below:

    Step 1: Copy the Parent/Base member you want to bring into the alternate structure. (#1 and #2 in Fig-1)

    Step 2: Go to the Alternate Structure and 'Paste Relationships (Add)' As First Child (#3- #5 in Fig-2)

    P.S. The idea is the same - Copy a Parent node or the Base member. It will copy the relationships based on the node selected.
