I submitted a support ticket this morning to officially inquire about this. Below is the response I rec'd ----->>>
Troubleshooting:
The reason that pop up page appears is because all OneStream environments 8.0 or higher utilizes an SSO architecture known as OneStream Identity Service. This architecture allows for the option to use multiple different SSO provider types for customers. OIS also authenticates over the internet. This is why the web browser page appear during login. It is currently unavoidable as the system needs to reach out to your SSO tenant for proper authentication to take place.
I would suggest checking with IdeaStream to see if an enhancement request for this behavior has previously been logged with us. If you do not see one there, please feel free to log an enhancement with us and we would be more than happy to take a look at this in the future. I have provided a link below, as well as a video that goes over how to log an enhancement. The steps for logging an enhancement can be viewed at the 4 minute mark of the video.
