How to unlock a user in OS ?

Happy "end of forced masking" everyone!    Why can't we log in as user administrator recently? We get message "invalid user or password" Maybe Our user administrator is locked out due to too ma...

    As it turns out, I had to reset password of Administrator to it's own native password .  That seems to unlock it.

Can you delete his profile and set him up as a new user? Maybe that may reset his locked state. Never been in such a situation before. 

Usually for us....our credentials are linked to a OKTA Adm group (managed by our IT folks) that allows us to authenticate using our work credentials. Is that how your OS login access is setup?
