IsConsolidated vs Aggregation Weight for Account

Hi, I wonder what's the difference between IsConsolidated member property and Aggregation Weight which is relationship property? When one's usually set IsConsolidated to False? I can imagine that it...

    Aggregation Weight is used for aggregating to the members parent. The IsConsolidated property is whether it is consolidated up the Entity hierarchy.
