The key is to also make sure the actual parameter is not in the linked cube view. Here are the settings I used to do this in my book. (We have the departments in UD2).

3 years agoThanks so much - Another question on Books - Do you need to set up different CV for the Books? Currently this is the only way we can get the books to run.

Hi Carol,
Sometimes, yes, depending on the loop variables. We try to use regular CVs where possible but I have a separate groups called “Books” for the book versions of some of them (I name them the same name with BOOK in the front).
