If Statement in Report Book
I’m working on a loop over Entity.children and trying to implement a condition where, if a particular entity x is selected, then entities y and z should be excluded from the loop. I attempted to write an if statement to handle this, but it doesn’t seem to be working as expected. Here's the logic I tried to implement:

Hi everyone, I have a book having a simple CV with an Excel output. When the book is "processed and open", normally it opens an excel file in the local machine. Is there a way so that the output file is saved as an excel on a shared OS folder? Thank you. Best regards, Carlos
How to get description of entity to appear when using a loop in a report book
I have a member filter loop set up to cycle through the children members of a parent entity in a report book using |Loop1Variable|. I also have |Loop1Variable| in the Page Caption of the cube view for the report book. Currently, the report book shows the name of each entity in the loop. What do I do to get the description of each entity in the loop to appear on the report?
book using App database file don't refresh
hi All, good day. I created a Book using cube views reports and App database files (text editor file including DOCSVARIABLE), I used a filter in time dimension to select the period, when I run the book, even in preview, I select the period and the cube views refresh the data but not the App database file; do anyone knows if I need to do something for refresh the text editor? also if I change the text editor adding or modifying the cube view, the file delete the new cube view and the modified; is it a bug? Books to PDF - Multiple Entities
Hi All, I'm having a hard time running a book that creates a pdf by entity in an automated fashion. I've created a book with a loop calling a file which is a book of cube views. Running that book individually works well. When running the book that contains the loop, it works fine when saved as a .pdfbook but the problem I run into is that it times out due to processing time when I try to run it for multiple entities. The book is about 80 pages or cube views. So I created a .zipbook version of the same book with said loop to run it from Data Management in the background. The problem I'm now running into is running the .zipbook version creates 80 pages of blank reports rather than the data I saw in the .pdfbook. If anyone has any suggestions, I'll take them. Thanks!
Narrative Reporting Issue
Hello! Has someone tried Narrative reporting in 9.1 version? I am currently experiencing issues: 1.- Inserting charts/Advanced Charts / Reports if someone could insert an exaple on how they have done it. 2.- I cannot vie the artifacts and acces them, this message keeps popping up (and the names are fine) Thank you so much for the help!!Report Books - Dashboard Chart
Hello, I have an automated report book and would like to expand the functionality to include charts (in addition to the existing cubeviews). I was able to add the chart, but I'm struggling with trying to control the formatting. I would like to modify the header and have the chart fill the page (too much white space). See below. Thanks! Is there a way to format the chart output, in particular I would like to enlarge the chart image and have it stretched across the page?
Save Offline Copy
I'm getting the below error message regarding location when trying to save a file with multiple XFGetCell formulas offline. I've updated my preferences that an earlier question showed as a solution and refreshed the workbook (again) before attempting to save...but am unable to save the file without the formulas. I've tried directly to my desktop, various folders, where downloads go.... I can't find an acceptable location. Any help would be appreciated.
How to create a Book with Single Loop containing multiple dimension combinations
Hello Team, Need solution on the Book Creation. I am trying to create only one Loop, with two combinations example (E#Abc:U2#Xyz) and the Loop Type I have used is Comma Separated List. In excel Export Item I have attached the CV also. Where it is not updated with my Entity and Customer, because I have passed them in the Loop Definition, together. While running the Book it is running at Top Level for both Entity and Customer. Instead of Abc & Xyz.
