"Enable Macros for XF Event Processing" Documentation

Hi everyone, 

I noticed in the Excel Add-in settings there is a setting called "Enable Macros for XF Event Processing." In the Design and Reference Guide, it says this setting enables Excel macros for OneStream XF api calls. Does anyone know where I can find more information about this?
