What does this error mean?
It is a new Genesis instance, with only the menu and one link to existing dashboard.

Solved. Apparently there was a new version of Genesis, I didn't know off

In your screenshot you have two blocks installed as well as a linked dashboard
I suspect you may have mixed up versions e.g you are using Genesis Frame version 2.0 and an older version of Advanced Dashboard Layouts e.g not 2.0.
Or the other way round e.g 2.0 block version and earlier Genesis Frame. Please check versions downloaded from Solution Exchange match each other. Please ensure you align Genesis frame version with block version(s) used
The error suggests you have a mismatch
