Has anyone come up with a clever solution to multi select members via a parameter on a CV?

We did something wayyyy back when that you can maybe pretty up. It was a dashboard and you could make the multiple selection per report ahead of time if you wanted to. It looked something like this:
You picked your report and selected all of the members you wanted in ther and made a repository and a user could make their own list.
