how to calculate an average of Prior 8 or 12 quarters on a rolling basis? has anyone done it? please share.

    I would suggest to try using a combination of the Time Dimension and the View Dimension to potentially resolve this.  Try using T#QuarterPrior8():V#QuarterAvg
