I want to use a parameter in the Member Expansion piece of the syntax, I have an error log showing the different data buffer filters between a book and cube view, the cube view is returning a data buffer with valid records, while the book returns no records. I'm a bit stumped here
Hi jwagner: feels like you're close. If its working in a CubeView/QuickView then it feels like a syntax issue when using it in the book. Try hardcoding values for everything first before switching to parameters in the input function.
As well, can you copy and paste the output you referenced? I cannot read the screenshot.
Edit: additionally, this is being used to define the Loop component of the Report Book, correct? The Loop type should be Member Filter if it is not already.

Somehow the filters are the same but returning differing Buffer Sizes.
Book Setup:Does it work with a basic MemberExpansion of Base? The only thing I can think is that the .Base.Where(Text5 = 4010) might need quotes. Meaning: .Base.Where(Text5 = '4010').
I've tried just about everything, Base without Text5 doesn't work, I manually hardcoded the MemberList that doesn't work either, must be a bug in a book, It's very strange and I think its related to the data buffer returning nothing when running a book, I run the cube view and it works just fine. I'm going to try to switch to an XFBR and see if a common separated list works. But I'm not confident that will work either since the issue seems to be with the data buffer actually returning anything when running a book. If you have time to look at this further I'd be happy to set up a call to discuss, I'm really at a loss of ideas.
