Hi cindy: two things to check, the OneStream setting that controls whether data in QuickViews is retained and then standard Excel automatic calculation setting.
OneStream Setting:
OneStream (ribbon) > Preferences > General > Invalidate Old Data When Workbook is Opened > Set to 'False'
Excel Setting:
File > Options > Formulas > Calculation Options > Workbook Calculation > Set to 'Automatic'

this works except on some files and some pcs the file takes sooo long to save, gets hung up and then some do not save as we expected
