CAMT.053 Files (ISO20022)

Has anyone imported CAMT.053 files from their bank into OneStream?  We are embarking on an Account Reconciliation project and trying to accommodate our international sites.  We've been told this is tricky and to stick with the BAI format, but that will be problematic as we integrate more global entities.

  • The lack of responses probably gives you your answer 🙂You will have to build your own connector logic to parse the CAMT.053 file which is probably why you were told to stick with the BAI format as there is a OneStream solution you can install that has the parsing functionality already built for that format. However, that said, if CAMT.053 files are extensively used as the primary file format across your international sites there may be value in investing time to build a connector to process that format. Ultimately that's a cost / benefit call you need to make based on the specifics of your implementation.

Indeed.  CAMT.053 is the ISO 20022 compliant format and is used by most banks outside of North America.  We will need to build our own.  OneStream has creating an adapter on their To Do list, but that is obviously not a guarantee of it being done by a certain time.
