I have 2 forms in a workflow with 2 different channels the 2nd form is for adding comments only but when the 1st, usd overrides is locked then comments are locked as well how do I get around that?

I have 2 forms in workflow profile. 1- "usd overrides" has TBAccount channel assigned and the 2nd form, BS Flux has WF Channel "flux" assigned.  The problem is when the USD overrides form is locked the comments on the Flux BS form are now locked.  How do I get around this?
