Smart Integration Connector (SIC) Error

This is very difficult to answer, as we have no insight into what those DataManagement steps are doing. There is no way to have a DataManagement step send data out externally out of the box, so they would be steps that run Business Rules to achieve this, and we would need to know what those Business Rules are doing. 

I would suggest if this is a recurring issue, that you log a case with our excellent support team, and include the Business Rules being executed, as well as any logs from the SIC Gateway server from around the same time, they should be able to help you troubleshoot this better.
