Modification of the time dimension definition after the application creation?

Building out a weekly application (they know data will need to be loaded weekly at some point in the future). From the ticket: are there any exceptions or background processes that would allow modification of the time dimension definition after the application creation? My only real concern is definition of 53 week years. For instance, if we define a 4-5-4 calendar with 53 week years in 2026 and 2033 and then we find out later than it should have been 2027 and 2034 with 53 weeks, would there be any way to change this once the application is created?
