Hi Albert!
No, not yet, it will not for as of version 7.1.3 on MacOS (or linux).
The future version will be compatible and is gonna be released in the coming month - but not official. We are all exited to see it 🙂
Cheers

Natively not supported yet but you can work with OneStream using windows VM on a mac.

As others mentioned, you can't access the Windows App on anything that is not Windows, so at the moment you'll need a virtual machine for that (VMWare Fusion, Parallels, VirtualBox, etc). There is a limited mobile interface accessible via web browser, meant to display basic reports - that will probably work on Safari, but there is little you can do with it.

We should soon get a release with a completely new browser-based interface, which was previewed at Splash; that should work on Mac just fine. It's currently in private beta only for a small subset of customers, but the program is expanding; you can get in touch with your Customer Success Manager if you'd like to be part of that. General availability is expected for late next year.

I got the same response from Support that I need a VM in Mac to connect to OS.

Thanks

Guys, has someone tested Docker in Mac to host OneStream Client?

As far as I know, it's still as I mentioned earlier: "We should soon get a release with a completely new browser-based interface, which was previewed at Splash; that should work on Mac just fine. It's currently in private beta only for a small subset of customers, but the program is expanding; you can get in touch with your Customer Success Manager if you'd like to be part of that. General availability is expected for late [this] year."

This said, keep an eye on announcements at Splash...

Thanks, Jack, for the update.

Thanks
Krishna

I think I just heard you tell me I should bring my MacBook to Splash....

Lol no. "BrowserUX" will be great when it reaches GA, but I wouldn't expect it to be at this Splash, sadly. I just meant that we will likely get a proper update about it.

Hey Jack,

Any updates on the BrowserUX availability? I don't think I received any communications on its development.

Also, my OS version is 7.1.3 - would the alternative solution of using a VM/ Remote Desktop work for this version?

At this time (April 2024), Browser UX is available in private beta for most Cloud customers on request, you can get in touch with your Customer Success Manager to discuss it - it will require upgrading to 8.x though, which is a significant step. Full general availability is expected sometime in the next 16 months (again, on version 8.x or higher).

The alternative solutions suggested will work for any version. With v.7, I would recommend your client vm to run Windows 10.
