Question: Are non-Data unit dimensions able to aggregate on-the-fly in OneStream?
Answer
Yes. Non-Data Unit Dimensions such as the Account, Flow, UD1-UD8, dimensions will aggregate on-the-fly.
If the requirement is to also that the data also aggregate on-the-fly up the entity dimension, then OneStream has an out-of-the-box Dynamic aggregation calculation (API function) which allows for dynamic aggregation of data up the entity hierarchy. This can be placed in a member formula and when selected can achieve the desired result.
